As the Vice President I assist the President in selecting the team, running practices, planning tournaments, as well as coaching the team. Our club is completely student run, so I help set our teams budget so we can plan fundraising to be able to travel and participate in tournaments at other schools as well as regionals and nationals.

VOLUNTEERING
Making Dinner at the Homeless Shelter
-
As a Club Basketball Team, we volunteer together multiple times each month. Our favorite form of volunteering is to go to our local homeless shelter and help make dinner and serve it to those in need. It is such a fun time all together, and an amazing way to help the community.
Training Sports Officials

As a Club Basketball Team, we help train sports refs for the University Recreation Center whenever new training is needed. We play basketball, flag football, etc. for the refs to practice making the calls.
NewMarket Safety Day

Through my last internship, I had the opportunity to volunteer with the Marketing and Communications department to help run the many events of that day. It was a great way to meet the families within the company, and help out where needed.
